ReplyDeleteWhen I was in third grade I was watching my local high school play in the basketball state championships. I was in a wheelchair at the time and so sat in the handicapped section, next to Kobe Bryant's grandparents. Kobe was playing in his high school championship later.

as an eight year old kid i used to fold lotus flowers out of shiny square paper and my friends and i started a lotus club. my role was to sit at the back of class and balance a lotus on one end of a ruler (which sat on an eraser to form a swing) & flip the lotus forward. if it landed on the right way up it was good and could be kept in a jar. it it landed upside down i had to unfold it & make it again
